A Flavour Of Mauritius was founded in 2017 by Yogeeta and her husband Mark. Yogeeta learned to cook back in Mauritius with her parents, who owned a small shop/bar, and developed a huge passion for cooking. What started as just cooking and entertaining for family and friends, developed quickly into a full-time catering business. This love for cooking, and providing the highest quality food, lead Yogeeta into starting her own catering business when she arrived in the UK. Starting as a mobile catering business originally (before opening our lovely restaurant!), we have worked all over the country providing beautiful Mauritian food to events, parties, and functions. Now with our restaurant in Reading you will always know exactly where to find us!
We have a VIP area within our restaurant, set within a straw beach hut for those who want that extra special dining experience. All food is lovingly prepared with the freshest ingredients, and we have an amazing choice of wines, traditional Mauritian beers, and soft drinks. We offer delivery and collection options, as well as dining with us for the full Mauritian experience!
